Black Identities and Social Work

The Lyle S. Hallman Faculty of Social Work Equity Committee welcomes you to join them in a dialogue on Black Identities and Social Work including a spoken word performance and facilitated discussion.

The event will feature, Kevin Sutton. Kevin is a writer, spoken word performance artist, workshop facilitator, communications professional, and community organizer. He is a co-founder of Black Lives Matter Guelph, and hosts The Great Pause on CFRU 93.3. His work with at-risk youth has led him to diversity, equity, and inclusion work helping organizations nurture supportive professional environments where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

This event is open is open to everyone and at no cost. Please note you must be signed into a free or paid zoom account to attend.
